Lately there’s been a huge shift in my life. And with those changes I’ve come to realize the changes I’ve made in myself. Being more open and upfront with what my art means and what I want you to see.

Been taking my work more serious due to this little princess. Knowing the impact what I create will have on her. How she is represented. And how what she sees shapes her mind. It’s difficult raising children in these times. Of course you want to shelter them, give them hope of a joyful future, wanting her to see nothing but beautiful images.. But at the same time not allowing them to be ignorant to what adversities lie ahead of them, the truth about how we are viewed... this piece is a representation of that struggle.

I pray this reminds you that everything observed by these children is what molds there perceptions of life.

And that is my artistic voice.
